Directions

From the Confederation Bridge

A couple of miles after you come off the Confederation Bridge there are two exits, one to Charlottetown and one to Summerside...take the Summerside one.

Follow this for about 5 or 6 miles to Central Bedeque and the will be a sign to the right for Route 8 to Freetown and New London. Take this and follow it all the way to New London (about half way you will have to do a zigzag around a large Roman Catholic Church, a quick left and right, but it's marked).

At New London, take a right onto Route 6 which takes you to Cavendish (again, there is a sharp left at Stanley Bridge, but it's marked, and it's still Route 6).

Once in Cavendish, on the right you will eventually pass Avonlea Village, Green Gables Golf Course entrance and then there will be G.Willikers Store. Beside it there is Memory Lane and our sign Willow Cottage Inn. Come up Memory Lane and we're on the right.

From Charlottetown

Come north out of the city on University Avenue. This becomes Route 2 if you go straight at the Charlottetown Mall.

Follow to Hunter River, about 10 miles. This is a small village in a valley. You will come down a very steep hill and on the left side is a large white RC church. Go slowly and turn right at the bottom of the hill onto Route 13. Follow this to Cavendish, again about 8-10 miles.

When in Cavendish, you will come to a stop light with a cemetery on the left and a service station on the right. Turn left onto Route 6 west, come down the hill and the fourth gate on the left will be Memory Lane and our sign will be at the gate. We are up Memory Lane on the right side.

From Charlottetown Airport (YYG)

Either:

Go straight through the intersection coming out of the airport and go to the first stoplight. Here, turn right onto Route 2.

Or:

Turn right onto Route 15 coming out of the airport. Follow about 8 or 10 miles to Brackley Beach where you will want to turn left onto Route 6 (which is some distance before you actually get to the beach!).

Follow Route 6 to Cavendish, about 10 miles. In Cavendish at the stoplight with the service station on your left, go straight through the intersection and down the hill. The fourth gate on the left will be Memory Lane and our sign will be at the gate. We are up Memory Lane on the right side.

From the Cariboo, NS/Wood Islands, PEI Ferry

Follow the Trans-Canada to Charlottetown. You can either go through Charlottetown or go around it on the by-pass. If you decide to use the by-pass, all you do is turn right immediately after you come off the Hillsborough Bridge on the outskirts of the city. This will take you to Route 2 "West"...watch for that. You will actually cross Rte. 2 "East" not long after you get on the by-pass, but you will want to take it the second time for ‘west’.

Turn right onto Route 2 to Hunter River and go about 10 miles, turn right at the bottom of the hill onto Route 13 and follow this to Cavendish, again about 8-10 miles.
